About the Schemes
PERFORMS is the leading educational self-assessment and training scheme for breast screening readers in the UK.
It is endorsed by the Royal College of Radiologists and Public Health England to benefit breast screening readers.
IMPROVE, which is a variant of the PERFORMS scheme, is a special design for technologists and advanced practitioner radiographers who undergo breast screening training.
It is administered via several of the UK breast screening training centres.
